Quest for happiness.........its here.!!
When asked, Are you the happiest person in this world?. For a moment we think and we hesitate to say yes.". In that short interval of time when we recollect our memories, our life movie starts with the most saddest moment. Then comes the entry of infinite small sorrows. In our film basically, the hero ie the happiness has been given a very short role. You can say Guest appearance..!!
We have to agree upon the fact that our life is well versed with equal number of sorrows and happiness. God, who is an amazing artist is been kind enough by not being partial with anyone on this earth. He has given equal number of good n bad days and artistically created the forms differently in different people's case. So why not appreciate his ability of creating so many different innovative sorrows as also happy days.
The state of happiness or sorrows is entirely based on our perception as to how we take it...
We compare ourselves with others. When we don't know the other person that well,only the brighter side of that person's life flashes in front of us. Most of the times it happens as far as financial status is concerned. My grandfather used to tell, 'when you are on a bicycle ,always see the person walking on the road and not the one in the car." So here comparing in appropriate manner is beneficial. Also I am not completely against comparison. If comparing with a person [above your status] boosts up your energy levels to achieve that position., then definitely its good. Its good as long as it doesn't hamper your happiness of today"
Secondly.,"expectations from people" is a worm that weekens us completely from inside thus creating problems in our relations. Well this is very difficult for us to overcome. But not impossible.....
And lastly, the urge for happiness" why do we wait for a big sort of happiness to come. In the process for achieving that, we only deprive ourselves from the infinitesimal small happy moments that come in our way. ........
We search for happiness. But we just forget to open the door when its there right here ...knocking at our doorstep....!!
