Artist v/s An engineer
For those who are viewing this blog with the expectations of having any disputes then chill... ! Nothing of that sort. Just that many of my relatives and friends are engineers and there has been difference of opinion at times [both right in their own way], that I felt like writing on this.....
As far as academics are concerned, definitely engineering students have to struggle a lot . Artists on the other hand, enjoy their lives thoroughly observing nature, its beauty and bringing it on either canvas or paper, may be in the form of paintings, poems or writings. They are indeed fortunate enough to appreciate the beauty[ no matter where they can find], and give a proper justice to it...!!
Engineers are very practical people always filled with questions like why, how, when," in their their mind and are always in search of answers for the same..
I am not saying that artists don't reason things but they enjoy having their own assumptions and creating their own abstract ideas on a particular thing.
Lookswise if you go,[this is for a majority]it is easy to differenciate between an artist and an engineer. An engineer is there to impress you with a sophisticated dressing sense and well versed linguistic skills. On the other hand ,an artist with a khadi kurta n a jhola , or may be any other weired dressing [actually artistic] is definitely eye catching appearance that will make you giggle , may be in the mind...... They don't require any sort of conversation. Their works" speak it all........
So then, commenting on the aspects of an engineer and artist, finally I feel that an engineer is one who reacts or responds to any situation by the head [by using brains].
Whereas an artist on the other hand, thinks from the heart.............!!

u hve gr8 talent dear...
no offence..!! but i dont agree wid u on this one...
i mean not totally disagree... but u r doin injustice 2 da enginners (i m one of them) who r artists (i m one of them also)..
wat abt those ppl..?? i mean these ppl r awesome... they kno wen 2 take decisions wid brain n wen wid heart...
n also wat i think is no matter wat ur educational qualifications r, if u r an artist then u r almost all da time in artistic groove..
ur engineering or management or watever for that matter will get suppressed...
anyways u take care... keep posting such blogs... i love ur writing... take care...
Being an engineer myself and also an artist in my own small way, i do not think that artists are only the people who have taken a vocational training in different hues of arts.
Thinking from heart and the mind is a way of solving problems, and the question of artist's and engineer's way of thinking doesn't arise here.
The only think that seperates artists from engineers is the void of parameters. but we seek art, much as u guys do..its only we can't dedicate ourselves fully to it.
writing this comment, a name comes to my mind....Leonardo da Vinci...
who was an artist and an engineer. he painted and yet also made sketches, which today reveals that he was the one who made the first blue-print of a helicopter!!!
--Oscar Wilde
Well i guess its superposition of both and that i waht quantum mechanics teaches u,not only pure states but also superposition is involved so people generally think via superposition state ratehr than a pure state of head or heart!!!
kul analogy na??
