Kanda bhaji n ginger tea...mmmm..Mind" blowing when its raining outside.

What say...the title itself must have made your mouths water...isn't it really great?
Every season definitely brings in pleasure in our lives having its own essence. Also its upto us as to how we savour it..........!!
Well everyone has its own way and I respect all of them.
Now coming to my main intention....
The other day when I just mention the word kanda bhaji" , some of the faces were lit up and ready to gulp the moment I was going to get. On the contrary there was one soul who was not ready to eat onions" not coz of dislike" but because it increases the so called "tamsik guna" in the body.
Now what to say to this...
Being born n brought up in cosmopolitan environment, I have due respect to all castes, sects and I always welcome the good principles of all.But definitely there are certain things that really make me laugh, may be because of my ignorance.,or I donno...what........
But actually I personally feel that how can food decide your state of mind? That means Food" controlling your mind.....This means every satvik" food eater has to be good .....and every tamsik" food eater cruel..!! Sounds illogical.
Being a great foodie and an admirer of all sorts of foods, I feel one has to relish every kind and pamper the tongue.
My point lies in the fact that if our Mind" is in our control" then no damn Kind of food" can harm its purity".........

i agree that wht we eat influences mind to considerable extent. (plz dnt argue on this issue coz i wont like to go in depth. instead trust me).
Mind control is very difficult. Its not as easy as you mentioned.

cute idea,and mouth wattering too, as sometimes u feel to eat this and at other u dont want to,but if u increase your constaints by your religion or other non cosmoploitan reason you are just "trying" to control your mind and all,well it is correct to control yourself in cosmoplitan enviornment from so many things, but when it comes to food..........well nothing much to control here than just ur will to eat or not

I have always seen people getting scared of death.The thought that 'I am going to die one day', causes goosebumps in majority of people's case.{well, there can be exceptions}.But mostly people that I have come across fear death...
